World Nomads Return Policy?

At World Nomads, it's possible to amend, extend, or cancel a travel insurance policy. This can be done via a World Nomads membership or by contacting them directly.

If the trip start date on the policy has not yet passed, and no claim has been made or intended to be made, then the trip start date can be changed to align with new travel plans. The new trip start date must be within 12 months after the date the policy was purchased.

All policies are subject to a 21-day ‘cooling-off’ period within which travellers may be able to cancel their policy and obtain a full refund. To cancel a policy within the cooling-off period, it can be done via the membership or by contacting them, and they will refund the premium as long as the policy isn’t being used in any way.

If unable to travel due to a coronavirus-related event such as government regulations or a government Do Not Travel warning to a specific region, and the policy hasn't been used and isn't needed for travel or claim, a refund is also eligible.

Please note that once the free-look or cooling-off period has passed, the policy is nonrefundable. A policy ends once you return within 100 miles of home, even if you’re only home briefly as part of a long trip.
